Jundong Li Receives NSF CAREER Award
The School of Data Science is pleased to announce Assistant Professor Jundong Li is the recipient of an NSF CAREER Award. Li, who holds a primary appointment in electrical and computer engineering and joint appointments in SDS and computer science, put forward a proposal titled, "CAREER: Toward A Knowledge-Guided Framework for Personalized Decision Making" and will receive $600,000 over five years.
Research interests include data mining, machine learning, and social computing. As a result of Li's extensive scope of research, he has published more than 100 papers in high-impact venues and garnered more than 5,000 citations.
Li holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, and a B.S. in Software Engineering from Zhejiang University in China.
