Jundong Li holds appointments as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Computer Science, and at the School of Data Science by Courtesy. His research interests include data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and social computing.
Prior to joining UVA in 2019, Li was a Research Assistant at Arizona State University in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Li’s research spans from computational health to anomaly detection to causal inference to network representation learning.
Li holds a PH.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University, a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, and a B.S. in Software Engineering from Zhejiang University in China.
