Join us to learn more about the Ph.D. in Data Science at the University of Virginia. Hosted by Program Director Thomas Stewart, participants will learn more about the program’s curriculum, hear about faculty research, and connect with current Ph.D. students to discover what it means to get a Ph.D. in Data Science.

Application Deadline

Applicants have a one-week grace period to submit transcripts, English language test scores (if required) and letter(s) of recommendation. Note that we do not accept research papers, articles, statements of purpose, GRE scores, or other supplementary items aside those required for the application.
Ph.D. Interview Days
The School of Data Science will invite selected candidates to connect with current and other prospective Ph.D. students, and to engage in round-robin admission interviews with Data Science faculty.
