Albemarle and Charlottesville K-12 Engagement

The UVA School of Data Science supports year-round partnerships with local public schools, offering programs during teacher workdays, summer camps, and special events. As a member of Albemarle County Public School’s Solve Advisory Committee, the School contributes to initiatives that inspire STEM career pathways. In partnership with C4K and the UVA Center for Community Partnerships, the School also leads the Starr Hill Pathways Data Science Career Program, guiding middle and high school students through hands-on experiences in data collection, analysis, and visualization.
