MSDS Program Coding Project Demo

Jett Badalament-Tirrell, a current MSDS Online student and ambassador, will give a live demo of the Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) conducted for a project in the DS 6030 Statistical Learning course. The project focused on using image data from the 2010 Haiti earthquake to help identify blue tarps, which signal makeshift shelters. Jett will walk through how his team explored pixel distributions, visualized color channels, and prepared the image data for machine learning models
