Artist In Residence

The School of Data Science at the University of Virginia is proud to announce its inaugural Artist-in-Residence program, launching in Spring 2025. This exciting initiative brings together the worlds of art and data, offering a unique opportunity for a visionary artist to engage with our students, faculty, and the broader data science community. During their week-long residency, the artist may lead interactive workshops, collaborate on innovative projects, and share insights through guest lectures and discussions. By blending creative expression with data-driven exploration, the Artist-in-Residence program highlights our belief art and data form a powerful partnership that drives innovation and insight.
